Come up with a strategy to discover whether or not any food preparation techniques have been transferred into a participant's daily life. (If they answered in the negative, what could you do possibly to inspire them to do something?)
Tell them to draw things that they have made at home and how they made it. (If they answered negatively then you could inspire them by telling them if they practice now they will be better than many people at preparing food in their class)

what's your favourite quote from one of the kids in your program? Describe the situation why did he/she say it?
My favourite quote was "I tried a chip smoothie before. It didn't taste really good." We were having a discussion of possible ingredients for smoothies and they weren't really answering after a few fruits so I asked them if chips would be good in a smoothie. I was surprised that someone actually did try it before. My goal is to eat breakfast 5 times a week not 5 times a day :)
