It has been a while since I last blogged about my goal so I decided to do a little update. It's February 18th today and it's past my goal date of January. I have realized over the past two months that I have reached my goal by drinking 4 cups of water a day, if not more. I've been refilling my water atleast once a day and I come home with it all empty unlike before when I would come home with it half full.

Come up with a strategy to discover whether or not any food preparation techniques you've introduced to the kids have been transferred in a participant's life.A strategy could be to ask the participants questions that could show whether they have or have not been using the techniques outside of the program. For examples I could ask the kids, "Do you help your parents cook at home?" "Have you made any of the recipes at home?"
During our first session we made spinach dip and when we were draining the spinach, the kids seemed to be grossed out by it. One kid even said "ewww, I hate spinach." but when they tired the dip they all really liked it and went back for seconds. The kid that said "ewww," even licked his plate.
