As the EAT Program is winding down, describe the extent of your personal health goal and what strategies you will use for yourself to maintain the role of consuming healthily in the ongoing future.
The EAT program is coming to an end and its been a great experience. I've learnt a lot, not just about food but about being a leader and goal setting. Everything I've learnt from the EAT program is something that will stick with me. Before the EAT program, I drank very minimal water so the goal I set for myself was to drink 4 cups of water a day. Overtime I accomplished my goal and I plan to continue drinking 4 cups of water a day. I think I will set a new goal for myself which is to eat at least 3 fruits and vegetables a day.

I finished my last session of EAT earlier this week. We made crepes and ice cream. The crepes were served with pineapple, which the older kids seem to have fun cutting. One of the kids actually participated in preparing the snack this session, which was really great to see. The ice cream turned out salty but it was okay because the kids loved the crepes. Some of them even said the crepes were their favourite thing we made in EAT. All but one kid had a second crepe. Overall it was a great last session.
How has your healthy goal setting changed or influenced you in how you plan or lead each EAT session? My goal is to drink at least 4 cups of water a day. My goal setting hasn't had a major influence on how I plan or lead each EAT session. I feel that the kids actually help me accomplish my goal. They are constantly drinking water and it just reminds me of what my goal is.
Share 1 EAT learning experience that has made a lasting impact on you.Over the past couple of weeks I've learned a lot from EAT, but if I had to choose one thing it would be my leadership skills. Working with the participants has taught me how to cope with situations, how to run activities, and how to make the EAT program a fun places for the participants to learn new food skills. Gaining and strengthening these skills will be very beneficially for me in the future.
