Update! It has been 2 months since I have completed my goal. My goal was to drink six cups of water a day. I have been able to still drink six cups of water a day. Usually I am able to to drink more than this. I bring a filled water bottle to school everyday and fill it again when I run out. Since I have completed my first goal I am planning to create a new goal soon.

Share 1 EAT learning experience that has made a lasting impact on you. Explain.I have gained many learning experiences during the many EAT sessions. If I had to choose one learning experience that has made the greatest and longest lasting impact on me, would be the experience of volunteering and working with younger kids. While volunteering with younger kids I have learned how to quickly deal with different situations and problems that occur. I have learned how to better communicate with the younger kids. During EAT I have also gained the knowledge of how to mentor the younger kids in a way that they want to be mentored and will also enjoy the experience.
Session 5 of phase 2 at Brant Villa! Today we made guacamole.Today we were short of one leader and we had five participants. This session was a really good session. I really like it because everyone wanted to participate. Also everyone including participants and leaders had fun. The guacamole was delicious except we had a lot of extra.
Session 4 of phase 2 at Brant Villa! Today we made tortilla rolls. The rolls contained sliced meat, cream cheese and an assortment of vegetables. All the kids wanted to make it and eat it at the end. the leaders and kids customized individual rolls. The rolls were delicious!
Come up with strategy to discover whether or not any food preparation techniques you've introduced to the kids have been transferred into a kid's daily life. Not really a question! Oh wells. A strategy I came up with is simple. Just ask them! While preparing the snack, I could SUBTLE ask them questions relating to the techniques we have introduced to them. I could also do this while the leaders and kids are eating the snacks.
Some questions I could ask may be: "Do you help you parents/guardians cook?" "Do you go grocery shopping to pick out vegetables?" "Do you try some of the recipes at home with your family?" Session 3 of phase 2 at Brantvilla! Today we made tuna and salmon salad in veggie boats. All the kids didn't like the smell of the fish, but everyone, except one, ate the dish they prepared. Today we also decided to rotate the task that the kids did. This allowed each kid to do every single task. I think this was a great idea! Also another participant has joined our group, He was very eager to prepare today's dish. This now means we know have 5 kid participants and 3 leaders!
What's your favourite quote from one of the kids in your program? Describe the situation, why did he/she say it? My favourite quote was from this boy at my program site, Brantvilla. The quote was, "PIZZA!" This boy said this twice actually, During the first time, I had ask the whole group "What their favourite type of food was?" He intermediately answered with "PIZZA!" He had a lot of enthusiasm! The rest of the group including the leaders and I found this very funny. The second time I had asked the whole group, "If you could eat just one food everyday for a month and nothing else, what would it be?". Everyone else had given different answers, and his was, once again, "PIZZA!" This may not be an interesting or cool quote but I really like this. He had a lot of enthusiasm and was very happy when I asked.
Session 2 of phase 2 at Brantvilla! Today we made leafy wraps. The wraps were good, but the kids kept grabbing too much of the food, but they still ate it all. Most of the lettuce was eaten, so that is good! While we were eating, we prepared some conversation starters so it wasn't as awkward as the last session!
